If you have not seen Mononoke then you are missing out on a amazing piece of art.
With no relation to the Ghibli title, it focuses around a mysterious Kusuriuri, or Medicine Seller, who vanquishes Mononoke during edo.
It has been a while since I have found an Anime with such a unique and mysterious mood. And I love the carefully done artwork. Additionally, after each episode, it provides information about the terms and mythology pertaining to it.
While this show is not for younger or sensitive viewers, I would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a different kind of Anime. This really is a one-of-a-kind show.
